FotoWare for iPhone serves as a complementary application designed for users of the FotoWare SaaS platform or the on-premises FotoWeb 8.0 Digital Asset Management system.

The app provides functionalities for searching and previewing archived content, as well as establishing Alerts (search agents) to receive notifications about new additions to the archives. Additionally, it enables users to upload files directly from the Photos library on their iPhone or iPad to accessible archives, with options to add necessary metadata during the upload process.

Regarding server connectivity, FotoWare for iPhone can interface with both the FotoWare SaaS environment and any FotoWeb 8.0 server. On initial launch, users will be prompted to specify a server connection; this configuration can be adjusted later via the Settings menu within the device.

Upon starting the application, input the hostname provided during registration, such as "yourname.fotoware.cloud," and ensure that the "Use legacy login" option remains disabled.
